Sonia Minhas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in client services and community support. Currently serving as the State Manager for Client Services in New South Wales at Dementia Australia since June 2021, Sonia previously held the role of Senior Coordinator for Culture and Capability at Blacktown City Council from July 2020 to June 2021. Between January 2015 and April 2020, Sonia was Director of Operations at Creating Links (NSW) Ltd, after which a position as Team Leader for Family Services at Creating Links was held from March 2014 to 2015. Prior experience includes roles in early intervention at Woodville Community Services from October 2012 to March 2014 and serving as a Youth Justice Officer at Hounslow Youth Offending Service in England from September 2007 to July 2012. Sonia Minhas holds a Master of Arts in Youth and Community and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both obtained from Brunel University in the UK.
