Marc François has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Marc started their career as a Sales Representative at CCA International, where they exceeded daily sales objectives and built rapport with customers. Marc then became a Sales Team Leader at the same company, leading a team of five representatives and empowering them to reach sales objectives.
Afterwards, Marc worked as a Junior Web Developer at Freelance.com, where they developed technical architecture for websites, modified existing websites, and implemented web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Marc also demonstrated an understanding of basic security concepts.
Marc then joined Deliveroo as a Live Operations Manager, responsible for optimizing and streamlining partner fleet management processes. Marc later became the Special Projects Manager, involved in various specialized projects. Marc was subsequently promoted to the role of Head of Rider Support Operations, overseeing rider support operations.
Currently, Marc holds the position of Head of Rider Services & Compliance at Deliveroo, responsible for improving the experience of riders and customers. Marc focuses on topics such as fighting against illegal subcontracting, compliance with platform regulations, and optimizing partner technical documentation.
In addition to their professional endeavors, Marc serves as a Sous-officier de réserve in the Armée de Terre.
Marc François has a background in law, with an education from the University of Montpellier and the Université de Poitiers. Marc also has a background in programming and computer development, with education from IRIS - Informatique et numérique. In addition to their formal education, Marc has obtained a certification in "Entrepreneurship 1: Developing the Opportunity" from Coursera in January 2018.
