Zach Fisher has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. In 2013, they began working as a Technical Intern for Fidelity Investments, where they worked with the Global Network Services Automation Team in the Enterprise Infrastructure Division and assisted in the development of two web applications using C# & .NET. In 2014, they began working at International Paper as a Data Analyst and IT Business Analyst. In this role, they developed models and distributed analysis using R, SQL, Python, & PowerBI, and led analytics for Retail eCommerce Channels analyzing and optimizing product content performance, advertising ROI, new product and market opportunities, cost-to-serve, etc. Zach also served as the IT lead on discovery, vendor selection, and long term roadmap of enterprise eCommerce project, eventually resulting in shop.sylvamo.com, and was the business expert in data analytics, standing up enterprise R server for data science collaboration across 3 business units and 4+ functional groups. In 2020, they began working at Sylvamo as a Product Manager, leading product vision & roadmap, performing customer research, journey mapping, prototyping, design sprints and directing feature development. Zach was also awarded the CEO Award for Excellence and Sales & Marketing Award. Most recently, in 2022, they began working at DefenseStorm as a Software Engineer, building user-friendly threat monitoring and intelligence solutions for Financial Institutions. Zach is responsible for building features and improvements in Angular frontend & Java microservice backend including object tagging, alert triggering, reporting & dashboards, and event parsing, as well as supporting and optimizing petabyte-scale ElasticSearch cluster and supporting AWS infrastructure.

Zach Fisher attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2009 to 2014 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. In 2017, they attended the University of Washington and earned a Graduate Certificate in Data Science.
