Skyler Mak has worked for a number of companies since 2020. In 2020, they began working as a Coach for Cal Dragon Boat. In 2021, they took on roles as a Cloud Operations Intern for American Express and a Machine Learning Student Researcher for Riff Analytics. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer - QE for Balbix, a position they began in 2022. Before that, they held the role of ETS Tech Consultant for the University of California, Berkeley from 2019.

Skyler Mak attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Data Science and Linguistics, and a minor in Computer Science. In 2022, they also attended Yonsei University.
