Emily Summers has extensive experience in communications and marketing, currently serving as the Director of Communications at Deer Valley Resort since November 2006, where responsibilities include overseeing marketing strategies, managing budgets, and leading a team. Previous roles at Deer Valley encompass various levels of communications management, including Sr. Communications Manager and Communications Manager, where Emily focused on media relations and public relations. Prior to Deer Valley, Emily was an Account Coordinator at The John Truscott Group, specializing in multi-client communications related to politics and legislation. Educational qualifications include a BA in Advertising and Public Relations from Michigan State University and a Professional/Continuing Education certification in Project Management Fundamentals from the University of Utah.
