Lucas Verret is a versatile professional with a strong background in engineering and leadership. Currently serving as a Crane Design Engineer and Software Developer at Deep South Crane and Rigging, LLC since July 2021, Lucas previously held the role of Project Engineer at Kiewit, where responsibilities included providing technical support for mechanical installations in a major LNG project. As President of JP Ministries since August 2015, Lucas oversees extensive nonprofit initiatives focused on community outreach and support. Additional experience includes a Capitol Engineer Internship at PCA, managerial duties at Verret Ventures, and a gunsmithing role at Robbins Innovations. Lucas holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Physics from McNeese State University.
