Alex Ford is a seasoned technology professional with a diverse background in software engineering, data engineering, and team leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Slack since April 2022, Alex is also a Data Engineer at Deep Breathe, where the focus includes developing a relational data model for medical imaging and creating pipelines for data extraction. Previously, Alex held the title of Software Development Manager at AutoVerify, leading a team in building tools for a widely-used software suite. Experience also includes roles as an Intermediate Software Developer at Mobials Inc. and as a Junior Software Developer at DevLift Media Inc., alongside earlier positions in environmental bacteriology and research assistance. Alex holds two Bachelor of Science (Honours) degrees from Queen's University in Chemistry and Life Sciences (Neuroscience).
