Diego Cardona has held various roles in the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition space since 2017. Diego began their career as a Junior Consultant at Universidad Externado de Colombia in 2017. In 2019, they took on the role of Talent Acquisition Specialist Brazil at 99, as well as Talent Acquisition Specialist LATAM & Russia and Talent Acquisition Coordinator at DiDi. In 2021, they were HR Business Partner & Talent Acquisition Leader at Conekta, and Global Talent Acquisition Specialist at Jobandtalent. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Head of People at Deal Engine and the CEO & Founder of Dog Love.

Diego Cardona is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources Management & Personnel Administration at EADA Business School. Diego also attended the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business in 2021, where they completed a Hiring Practices Program in Human Resources Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Administración y gestión de empresas from Universidad Externado de Colombia, which they completed in 2019. Diego also holds two professional certifications, a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from LinkedIn obtained in November 2022, and a Tech Recruitment Certified Professional from DevSkiller obtained in October 2022.
