Sjors Grijpink has a strong background in the IT industry, with extensive experience in various leadership and managerial roles. Sjors is currently serving as the CTO at dé VakantieDiscounter since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Otravo as CTO from June 2017 to December 2018 and as IT Manager Travel from February 2017 to June 2017. Before Otravo, Sjors held the position of IT Manager at Elmar Reizen from September 2013 to February 2017. Sjors also has a significant consulting background, having worked at Xebia as a Senior Consultant from November 2007 to September 2011, then as Managing Consultant from October 2011 to January 2013, and finally as a Senior Consultant again from February 2013 to August 2013. Additionally, they gained experience as an IT specialist at Faxtor Securities from March 2005 to October 2007 and as a System Programmer at NIKHEF from February 2004 to March 2005.

Sjors Grijpink earned a Master of Science degree in Physics from the University of Amsterdam, where they studied from 1992 to 1999. Later, they pursued a Ph.D. in High Energy Physics at the same institution, completing their doctoral studies from 1999 to 2004.
