Kathryn Hawkins is an experienced freelance recipe writer and food stylist with a diverse background in the culinary field. Since June 2009, Kathryn has been a regular contributor to the cookery section of My Weekly magazine under DC Thomson. Prior work includes a significant tenure at Dr Oetker UK from April 2002 to February 2021, where contributions encompassed the creation of the first-ever Home Baking TV advertisement, new product development, and food styling for advertising. Kathryn also has a history of freelance work with New Holland from 2004 to 2012, as well as earlier positions with Hers Agency, Woman's Own magazine, and Best Magazine. Academically, Kathryn holds an HND in Home Economics/Food and Nutrition from Croydon College and an A Level in Home Economics from Collyer's Sixth Form College.
