Emily Culp currently serves as a 6th grade writing teacher at DCI - District of Columbia International School since August 2018 and is also a mentor for the Modern Classrooms Project since June 2020. Previously, Emily Culp has held various teaching positions, including 7th Grade English Teacher at Alexandria City Public Schools and 6th Grade English Teacher at District of Columbia Public Schools and BASIS Educational Group. Emily Culp has extensive tutoring experience as a Private Writing Tutor and College Essay Consultant since October 2007. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literatures from Middlebury College and a Master of Education from the University of the People. Emily Culp has also contributed to educational programs such as Great Books Summer Programs and worked as a peer writing tutor during college.
