Renee Weiss is a seasoned Medical Laboratory Technician with over 35 years of experience in clinical settings. Currently employed at Day Kimball Healthcare since November 2016, Renee has honed skills in laboratory operations. Prior roles include Resource/Reference Technician at Hartford Healthcare Laboratories from February 2005 to June 2016, where strategic process improvements were implemented, and Medical Laboratory Technician at Hartford Hospital from August 1988 to February 2005, focusing on blood bank testing and phlebotomy. Additionally, Renee served as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy Reserve during Operation Desert Storm, performing phlebotomy and vital signs monitoring. Renee holds an Associate's degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technology from Manchester Community College.
