Vasu Maganti, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Laboratory and Environmental Services at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, where responsibilities include operational and financial oversight of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and Environmental Services since July 2017. Prior to this role, Vasu Maganti held the position of Director for Laboratory and Pathology Services at York Hospital from December 2007 to July 2017, managing all aspects of high complexity operations for hospital and satellite laboratories. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Operations at LabCorp, overseeing high complexity laboratories and compliance, and as Senior Research Scientist II at Pfizer, focusing on drug target development for various inflammatory conditions. Vasu Maganti began a scientific career as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Genetics Institute of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, studying immune mechanisms during pregnancy. Academic credentials include a PhD in Microbiology and a Bachelor's of Science in Microbiology and Zoology from the University of New Hampshire.
