Kendra Selden has a diverse work experience, starting as a Contributing Writer at Homeowner Associations of North Carolina, Inc in 2011. Over the years, they held roles such as Front of House Staff at Lyric Theatre Company and Roundabout Theatre Company, Executive Assistant at Auerbach Grayson, and Administrative Assistant at N.S. Bienstock, Inc. Kendra then transitioned into marketing and customer service roles at Primary Stages, Meetup, Teachers Pay Teachers, and Substack, where they eventually became a Support Lead at David Energy in 2023.

Kendra Selden earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2011. In 2023, they obtained a certification in Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
