Ricardo Ramos has a diverse work experience. Ricardo started their career in 2013 as an IT Project Manager for the Government of Sofala Province. From there, they worked as a Técnico de Monitoria e Avaliação Baseado em Tecnologias Móveis for USAID in 2014. In 2015, they were an Assistente Técnico - Manutenção e Redes for Telecomunicacoes De Mocambique SARL and later became an IT Manager for StarTimes. In 2016, they joined DataServ as a Senior Information Technology Support Engineer and later took on the roles of Branch Manager/Customer Manager/IT Engineer and Branch Operation Coordinator. Additionally, in 2020, they worked as a Digital Security Specialist Consultant for Counterpart International.

Ricardo Ramos obtained a Licentiate degree in Engenharia Informatica from Universidade Lurio, which they attended from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained certifications in network security from ICSI (International CyberSecurity Institute) in the UK in May 2020, and in offshore survival training from OPITO in South Africa in February 2022.
