Donato Calace has a diverse work experience. Donato currently holds several roles, including being a Member of the EFRAG VSME Community and the Member of the Expert Working Group for European Sustainability Reporting Standards. Donato also serves as a Member of the EFRAG Task Force reporting of non-financial risks and opportunities. Prior to their current roles, Donato was the Senior Vice President of Accounts & Innovation at Datamaran. Donato also held various positions at the same company, including President, VP of Accounts & Innovation and Director of Innovation. Donato was also a Member of the Stakeholder Insights Group at the Financial Reporting Council, where they shared their perspectives on key opportunities and potential areas of focus. Donato has also been involved with EFFAS as part of their CESGA Module 10: Chapter North America. Donato has lectured on materiality at Audencia Executive Education and had previous roles at Datamaran as an ESG Research Manager and ESG Specialist. Donato also served as a Teaching Assistant of Business Innovation and a PhD student at LUM University. Additionally, Donato was a Visiting Scholar at Cass Business School and worked as a Business analyst at Frulez and SportFabbrica.
Donato Calace has a strong educational background in the field of economics and international business. Donato obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from LUM Jean Monnet University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Donato then pursued their Master's degree in International Business from the same institution, graduating in 2012. Donato furthered their studies by enrolling in the International Ph.D. program in the Economics and Management of Natural Resources at LUM Jean Monnet University from 2012 to 2015. Apart from their formal education, Donato also pursued additional certifications to enhance their skills. In 2014, they completed the Data Analysis and Statistical Inference certification from Coursera and achieved an Academic IELTS Overall score of 8 from the British Council. Additionally, in the same year, they completed the course "The Age of Sustainable Development" offered by The Earth Institute, Columbia University through Coursera.
