Marie Planchard is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of engineering and education. Since 2005, Marie has held key roles at Dassault Systèmes, currently serving as the 3DEXPERIENCE Works Early Engagement Strategy Lead and Senior Director of Education & Early Engagement for SOLIDWORKS, focusing on community development and business relationships across industry, academia, and government. Prior to this, Marie was a Professor and Department Chair at Massachusetts Bay College, where a CAD certificate program and Engineering Design Associate Degree were established. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Senior Application Engineer at Zymark/Caliper Life Science/Perkin Elmer and Beta Test Manager at Prime Computer/Computervision, where Marie contributed to laboratory automation systems and CAD software support, respectively. Marie holds a BSME from Rutgers University and an MSME from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
