Eric Griffin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Eric started their career as a Policy Analyst at the City of Oakland in 1997 before moving on to various roles at the City of Dallas, including Intergovernmental Affairs Coordinator and Director of Environmental Quality. In 2010, they worked as a Sustainability Consultant at Future+Strategy, and from 2011 to 2014, they were the Sector/Sustainability Manager at Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas. Eric then joined the Dallas Regional Chamber, where they held multiple positions, including Vice President of Research and Innovation. Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated a commitment to promoting sustainability, driving improvements in education, influencing public policy, and fostering regional partnerships.
Eric Griffin has a Master of Environmental Management specializing in Resource Economics and Policy from Duke University. Eric also obtained a Master of Public Policy with a focus on Environmental Policy from the same institution. Prior to their graduate studies, they received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Southern Methodist University. Eric completed their high school education at MacArthur High School.
