Cathal Wims is a scientist at DairyNZ, a position held since May 2013, having previously served as a postdoctoral scientist. Prior to this role, Cathal worked as a dairy farm consultant at Intelact from March 2012 to April 2013, where consulting services focused on farm systems and profitability for dairy farmers in Tasmania, Australia. Academically, Cathal holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Agriculture and a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (B. Agr. Sc.) in Animal and Crop Production, both obtained from University College Dublin, with the latter degree completed in 2008.
