Matt Custer is an experienced executive with a strong background in manufacturing and operations management within the nutraceutical and food industries. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer, President, and VP General Manager at Cyanotech Corporation/Nutrex Hawaii since September 2015, Matt leads business development strategies, revitalizes manufacturing processes, and enhances product quality and safety for the publicly traded company. Prior to this role, Matt held positions as Director of Manufacturing and Production Manager at Cyanotech, where significant improvements were made in various operational facets. Previously, Matt managed operations at Hamakua Macadamia Nut Company as Plant Manager, overseeing supply chain processes and HR responsibilities. Early career experience includes a role as Farm Manager at Jurgielewicz Farms. Matt's educational background includes studies at the University of Hawaii, following completion of high school at Elmwood High School.
