Evelyn Escanellas is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various roles within the finance sector. Currently serving as a Staff Accountant at Currency Exchange International since April 2022, Evelyn previously held similar positions at PlanSource and Con-Air Industries, Inc. Additionally, Evelyn has a strong background in accounts payable and payroll functions, having worked as an A/P Specialist and Staff Accountant at Global Health Education and in temporary roles at The Jerome Golden Center for Behavioral Health. Earlier experience includes working as a Share Service Leader at SBA Communications and a Site Administrator/Accountant at Emerson Automation Solutions, covering a wide range of accounting responsibilities including invoicing, journal entries, and financial reporting. Evelyn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the Universidad de Puerto Rico, completed between 1987 and 1994.
