Kanhaiya Kumar is a Senior Scientist at the CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM) since April 2022, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from June 2017 to May 2021, focusing on bioprocess engineering, metabolomics, and antibiotic production. Kanhaiya has also held positions as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Technology Calicut and as a Senior Researcher and Team Leader at KAIST, South Korea, specializing in photobioreactor modeling and algal cultivation. Research efforts began as a Senior Research Fellow at IIT Kharagpur, primarily investigating algal technology. Kanhaiya holds a PhD in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a B.Tech in Biotechnology from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata.
