Hannah Micek, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Hannah is currently working as an R&D Scientist at Streck since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Biomedical Engineering Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2017 to December 2022. Hannah also worked as a William H. Thompson Scholars Academic Tutor at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln from January 2015 to May 2017. Additionally, they gained experience as an SURF Intern at The Scripps Research Institute for two months in 2016. Hannah's early work experience includes an R&D Hematology Internship at Streck from May 2015 to August 2015.

Hannah Micek, PhD, has an extensive education history in the field of biomedical and medical engineering. Hannah began their educational journey in 2013 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biological Systems Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2017, Hannah continued their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Hannah pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from 2017 to 2020. Building upon their foundational knowledge, they then proceeded to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from 2017 to 2022.
