Yan Michalevsky has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and cryptography. Yan is currently a Co-Founder at Cryptosat, a role they took on in 2021. Previously, in 2017, they served as the CTO and Co-founder at Anjuna Security. In addition to their entrepreneurial ventures, Yan has also worked as an Investor at Oneleet (YC S22) since 2022.

Furthermore, Yan has provided their expertise as a Cybersecurity Venture Advisor at bitfwd community since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Developer and Maintainer at BoxStream Cloud Music from 2015 until May 2022.

Yan Michalevsky has an extensive education history. Yan began their academic journey at the Israeli Arts and Science Academy (IASA) from 1998 to 2001, where they focused on the field of study in physics. Following this, they pursued higher education at The Open University of Israel from 2002 to 2006, focusing on mathematics, computers, and physics.

In 2007, Yan Michalevsky enrolled at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering, completing their studies in 2010.

Yan'spursuit of knowledge continued at Stanford University, where they first obtained a Masters's degree in Electrical Engineering from 2012 to 2014. Yan Michalevsky then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2012 to 2017, furthering their expertise in the field.

In 2018, Yan Michalevsky briefly attended Y Combinator, an entrepreneurship-focused institution, to expand their knowledge in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial studies.
