Barak Ronen is the Founder and CEO of Crux. Barak has over fifteen years of experience in business development and commercial strategy.
Ronen started their career at Thomson Reuters, where they were responsible for the company's media products development and commercial strategy. Barak then moved to Corbis as the Senior Vice President of Media Products. In this role, they were responsible for the company's growth strategy and identifying and negotiating innovative partnership deals.
Ronen then joined Dow Jones as the head of analytics innovation, leading a team that built algorithms and applications to turn collections of news into interactive, insightful infographics. After Dow Jones, they joined Boxever as the Vice President of Business Development. In this role, they helped travel retailers have truly personal 1-1 interactions with their customers, driving both revenue and customer satisfaction.
Ronen has a proven track record in helping companies grow and develop innovative products and partnerships. Barak is passionate about using data to drive insights and decisions, and they are excited to continue growing Crux into a leading data analytics platform.
Barak Ronen attended Tel Aviv University, where they earned a BA in East Asian Studies and General Barak'story. Barak then pursued an MBA at INSEAD. During their time at university, they also studied Mandarin at Tsinghua University.
