Garry Johnston currently serves as the Data and Digital Programme Lead for National Programmes at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand, having previously held interim leadership in the Te Manawa Taki Region. As Chairperson of the Board for Tribe, Garry oversees business improvement and IT strategies for small to medium enterprises. Garry's extensive experience includes roles as Executive Director Digital at Waikato District Health Board, Director and Digital Consultant at AlphaOne Limited, and various leadership positions at Vodafone New Zealand, where significant digital transformations were achieved. Garry's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Computing and Management from Lincoln University, supplemented by ongoing studies at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
