Unmesh J. began their work experience as a Software Engineer at Crunchr in October 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a PHD Student at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from October 2016 to October 2020. From October 2014 to March 2016, they held the position of Software Development Engineer at Amazon. Unmesh also worked as a Masters student at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from August 2012 to October 2014. Before that, they worked as a SDE Intern at Amazon for two months in 2013. Unmesh started their career as a Software Engineer at Quick Heal Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in January 2010 and worked there until July 2012.

Unmesh J. began their education at Ramanbaug Highschool from 1997 to 2003. Unmesh then went on to attend S.P. College from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science. Following this, Unmesh studied at Aabasaheb Garware College from 2008 to 2010, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science. Their education continued at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2012 to 2014, where they completed a Masters in Parallel and Distributed Systems.
