Babette Mooij has a diverse and extensive work experience. Babette is currently a Product Manager at Crunchr, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Business and Product Associate at Crunchr from January 2022. Earlier in their career, they were a Management Trainee at Crunchr from April 2021 to December 2021, where they gained valuable experience in various aspects of the organization. Babette also conducted data science research as part of their MSc Data Science thesis at Crunchr, where they developed a machine learning feature for the Crunchr platform to analyze turnover drivers in specific employee segments.

Before joining Crunchr, Babette co-founded Growthrs, an HR-software company, in February 2020. Babette participated in the ACE startup incubator program to further develop and build the company. Prior to that, they were part of the team at Bit, a research and prototyping studio, where they explored multiple startup roles from March 2019 to August 2020.

In 2018, Babette held the role of Coordinator ASVA Academy at the ASVA Student Union, where they were responsible for the functioning of the training agency. Babette recruited and maintained contact with trainers and processed training requests from associations. Babette also gained experience as a Data Science Intern at Xomnia, a data science company, where they conducted research for their bachelor thesis on predicting hiring outcomes using decision trees and random forests.

Babette has also been actively involved in student organizations. Babette served as the Commissioner of Speakers for the SingularIT conference held by the Stichting Nationaal Informatica Congres from November 2017 to December 2018. At the University of Amsterdam, they held multiple roles, including Vice Chair of the Faculty Student Council for the Faculty of Science from September 2017 to August 2018, where they were responsible for leading a team of 12 people and handling various responsibilities such as planning strategies and providing evaluations. Babette also served as a Board member and Secretary for the student party LIEF, where they focused on addressing educational issues and overseeing communication and website management.

Furthermore, Babette gained work experience as a Bakery Employee at Albert Heijn, where they worked in the bakery section from May 2012 to September 2014.

Babette Mooij has a strong educational background in the field of mathematics and data science. Babette obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Data Science from the University of Amsterdam, graduating in 2021. Prior to their master's degree, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics at the same institution, graduating in 2019.

Before starting their university studies, Babette attended Regius College Schagen, where they pursued their Gymnasium degree in Science and Engineering from 2008 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Babette has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Babette completed the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) certification program at HubSpot Academy in June 2021. In 2016, they obtained two certifications, namely Introduction to Data Science and The Basics of Data for Analytics, both from LinkedIn.
