Gabriel Chavez has worked in the video editing industry since 2007. Gabriel began their career as the CEO and Video Editor at Friendly Interactions Inc. in 2007. In 2008, they worked as an Assistant Editor at Madhouse, Inc. From 2009 to 2011, they held various roles in the industry, including Editor/Videographer at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., Avid Editor/Motion Graphics at Macy's, Inc., and Video Editor at TBWA and Criterion Collection.

Gabriel Chavez received their MFA in Film/Video and Photographic Arts from the School of Visual Arts in 2008, followed by a BA in Classical and Ancient Studies from Duke University in 2005.
