Brian Donohue began their work experience in 1991 as a Lieutenant in the US Navy, where they oversaw the safe and efficient operation of a nuclear power plant and managed the nuclear training program. In 1999, they transitioned to the corporate sector and worked as an Analyst in the Credit Card division of Capital One Home Loans, where they directed various customer management programs. Brian was then promoted to roles such as Head of Portfolio Strategy for the Young Adult Segment and Head of Transactor/Rewards Segment, where they developed strategies and managed portfolios, generating significant net income growth. In 2006, they became the Head of Dealer Subprime in the Auto Finance division, leading a business originating $4 billion annually. Donohue joined Exeter Finance Corp. in 2015 as an Executive Vice President, overseeing analysis, statistical model development, and operational reporting for a sub-prime auto lender. Finally, in 2017, they became the Chief Risk Officer at Crescent Bank & Trust, and later transitioned to the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2020.
Brian Donohue earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Brian then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from The Citadel between 1996 and 1999.
