Joseph Favale, Ph.D., is a Research and Development Scientist at Cree LED since March 2020, having previously held the same position at Cree from September 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at North Carolina State University from July 2014 to August 2019, where independent research focused on developing novel photophysically-active compounds through various experimental techniques. Prior to that, Joseph Favale worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Roger Williams University from September 2010 to May 2014, concentrating on synthesizing chromophores for dye-sensitized solar cells. Joseph Favale holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Roger Williams University.
