Paul Trost

Quality Assurance Analyst II at cPanel

Paul Trost has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Paul started their career as a Junior System Administrator and Support Technician at My Linux ISP in 2000, providing system administration and customer support for various internet services. After My Linux ISP was acquired by Internet America, Paul continued to work for the company in different roles such as Commercial Services Support and Manager, Network Operator, and System Administrator. Paul'sresponsibilities included managing commercial services, supporting web hosting and network infrastructure, and monitoring network operations. In 2010, Paul joined cPanel as a Technical Analyst, where they supported Linux and FreeBSD servers and performed quality assurance tasks. Paul also wrote shell scripts and automated tests to ensure the functionality and security of cPanel/WHM.

Paul Trost attended Houston Community College from 1996 to 1997, studying Graphic Arts. Paul obtained several additional certifications, including L1: cPanel Base Certification in Technical and Sales from cPanel in June and July of 2014 respectively. Paul also achieved the Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in June 2014 and became a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in July 2013.
