Farid Bosak-Barani has a diverse work experience in various positions. Starting in 2000, they served as an Arabic Cryptologic Linguist in the United States Air Force until 2004. In 2010, they worked as a Curriculum Development Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin while also serving as an Arabic Mentor at the Arabic Flagship Program. From 2011 to 2020, Farid joined AECOM as an Arabic Linguist and Team Lead. Farid then transitioned to Coverent in 2020, where they held positions as Senior Technical Consultant, Senior Program Manager, and currently serves as the Director.

Farid Bosak-Barani completed their undergraduate education from 2007 to 2009 at the University of Texas at Austin, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies with a focus on Arabic Language and Literature. Following this, they pursued further studies at the University of Damascus from 2009 to 2010, although the specific degree obtained is not specified. During this time, they focused on Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), Syrian Dialect, and Media Studies. Additionally, from 2000 to 2002, Farid attended the Defense Language Institute, Foreign Language Center, where they studied Arabic Language and Geography.
