Daniel Sieger is a Software Engineering Manager at Coventor, Inc., a Lam Research Company, since April 2015, where responsibilities include leading agile teams in 3D modeling, simulation, and visualization, alongside defining software design and engineering best practices. Previously, Daniel served as a Lead Engineer, focusing on the geometry team and developing a novel mesh generation pipeline that resulted in a patent. As a Senior Engineer, Daniel contributed to software development for mesh generation from complex volumetric multi-material models. Prior to this, Daniel worked as a Research Assistant at Bielefeld University from March 2009 to March 2015 and earned a PhD in Computer Graphics and Geometry Processing from the same institution between 2009 and 2016.
