Brenda Hinds has worked in a variety of roles in the Human Resources field since 1983. Brenda began their career as a Customer Service Manager at People Express Airline in 1983. In 1986, they moved to Thermal Energy Cooperative as an Administrator. Brenda then worked as Human Resources at Dwight Tope State Agency from 1988 to 1993. From 1993 to 1995, they were a Program Manager at the University of New Mexico. Brenda then worked as Manager Program Relations at United States Industry Coalition from 1995 to 1999. In 1999, they moved to Northern Lakes Community Mental Health as a Human Resources Officer. From 2005 to 2008, they were the Human Resources Director at Grand Traverse County. From 2008 to 2012, they were the Human Resources Director at Integrity Directional LLC/American Wireline Services. Finally, from 2012 to 2016, they were the Administrator at Hinds Services, LLC. Since 2016, they have been the Human Resources Director at Covenant Eyes.

Brenda Hinds attended Michigan State University from 1978 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Dual Major: Employee Relations & Psychology, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Employee Relations & Psychology.
