Gary Battaglia is an experienced financial professional with a background spanning over 30 years in finance and management roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Financial Services Manager I for the County of San Mateo since May 2016, Gary is responsible for generating the department's two-year budget, consolidating performance reporting results, and managing contract processes. Previous positions include Management Analyst for the City of San Carlos and Project Manager - Finance for the City of Half Moon Bay. Gary's extensive experience also encompasses senior roles at Stanford Hospitals and Clinics, Genentech, and United Airlines, where skills in budgeting, variance analysis, capital asset management, and financial reporting have been developed. Gary holds an MBA in Management and a Bachelor's degree in Finance, both from San Francisco State University.
