Cindy King serves as the Community Engagement Manager for the County of Louisa since August 2021, where responsibilities include acting as the county spokesperson, managing media communications, promoting tourism, and enhancing public engagement through various content strategies. As Co-Owner and President of The Kraken Marketing since May 2012, Cindy specializes in branding and marketing strategies for diverse clients. Previous experience includes roles as Marketing Administrator at Virginia Railway Express, where Cindy executed comprehensive marketing plans and served as Editor in Chief of RIDE Magazine, and Director of Marketing at Coins For Anything, pioneering the company's first marketing department. Earlier positions include Marketing Specialist at Kaeser Compressors and Project Manager at CorpComm, Inc., with an academic background in Art History from the University of Mary Washington.
