Teagan Judd is the current Assistant Director of New York Meetings at the Council on Foreign Relations. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Director of Programs/Membership at Off the Record, where they were responsible for organizing and running over 80 successful events.
Teagan has always been interested in foreign policy and government, and they pursued this interest by studying political science and international relations in college. After graduation, they began their career at the Foreign Policy Association, where they worked their way up to the position of Associate Director of Programs/Membership.
At Off the Record, Teagan was responsible for connecting with leaders in the fields of foreign policy, government, and NGO’s to plan and confirm speaking events. Teagan also oversaw the logistics of these events, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. In addition to their event-planning responsibilities, Teagan also kept apprised of current foreign policy events and conducted speaker and topic research. Teagan assisted in the initiation of Facebook live interviews with each speaker, including concept building and execution, and they also helped to create databases to track marketing material dissemination and membership fluctuation.
In their role as Assistant Director of New York Meetings at the Council on Foreign Relations, Teagan is responsible for planning and executing a variety of meetings and events. Teagan works closely with a team of staff and volunteers to ensure that each event is a success. In addition to their event-planning responsibilities, Teagan also manages the council’s intern program.
Teagan Judd is a highly-skilled event planner with a passion for foreign policy and government. Teagan has a proven track record of success in organizing and executing a variety of events. With their experience and skills, they are well-positioned to continue their work in promoting understanding and cooperation among nations.
Teagan Judd has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Global Studies from Northeastern University, a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs from Northeastern University, and studied abroad for Politics and Theirtory at The University of Edinburgh.
They are on a team with Meaghan Fulco - Director, Meetings and Term Member Program, Sam Dunderdale - Associate Director, Washington Meetings and Term Member Program, and Carrie Bueche - Deputy Director, Washington Meetings. Their manager is Stacey Lafollette, Managing Director, Meetings.
