Amanda Coleman has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Amanda began their career as an Apprentice in Electronic/Electrical Engineering at the UK Ministry of Defence in 1989. Amanda then worked in roles such as Author, Reliability Engineer, and Reliability and Maintainability Team Leader. In 1999, they became the MIDIT/Fast Stream Specialist Grade Manager. From 2000 to 2013, they worked at the UK Ministry of Defence in various roles, including AD Development Analysis and Research at DCDC. In 2005, they joined Dstl as a Principal Analyst and eventually became a Team Leader. Amanda held the position of Principal Research Scientist at Improbable in 2022. Coleman also worked at Cervus Defence as the Chief Scientific Officer from 2020 to 2022. Amanda returned to QinetiQ as a Lead Solutions Architect from 2023 to 2024. Currently, they are the Head of Decision Science at Cosimmetry.
Amanda Coleman attended Bromley College of Technology from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained an HNC/HND degree in Electronics. Prior to that, they attended Malvern Hall from 1982 to 1987. No degree or field of study information is available for their time at Malvern Hall.
