Aurélien Baelde has a long and varied work experience. Aurélien started their career in 2012 as an R&D Intern at Thales Air Systems, where they simulated RADAR wave propagation. In 2014, they were a PhD Student at Safran, and also held an R&D Internship at Total E&P UK Limited, where they worked on geostatistics and fluid flow in porous media. In 2017, they were an Actuarial & Risk Management Consultant at PartnerRe, and also founded Neuroptima, a professional training company providing training in personal efficiency based on Neurosciences and Psychology in French and English. In 2018, they worked as a Data Scientist at Wavely, and in 2019 they became a Lead Data Scientist at Upskills. In 2022, they will become a Lead Data Scientist at JobTeaser.

Aurélien Baelde completed their Classe Préparatoire PCSI - PC* at Lycée Henri Wallon from 2007 to 2010. Aurélien then went on to receive an Advanced Master in Science and Technology from ESPCI Paris - PSL from 2010 to 2014. Aurélien then received a Master 2 (M2) in Capteurs, Mesures et Instrumentation from Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2013 to 2014. Aurélien then completed a PhD in Physics from the same university from 2014 to 2017. During this time, they also received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Collège des Ingénieurs in their Science & Management program. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Deep Learning with PyTorch : Siamese Network from Coursera in May 2022, Management Stratégique de TPE/PME from IFG Executive Education in April 2022, and Version Control with Git from Coursera in November 2019.
