Meherat Addis has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Meherat began their professional journey as a Student Assistant at the University of San Diego in 2011, where they provided general office support and assisted with data processing. Meherat also worked as a Van Driver during this time.
In 2014, Meherat interned at Mama's Kitchen, where they contributed to the development and execution of fundraising events and handled donation records. Meherat also reached out to potential donors and restaurants.
Meherat then joined the Cygnet Theatre in 2014 as a Box Office Associate, where they sold tickets and subscriptions, managed the box office system, and conducted marketing campaigns.
From 2015 to 2016, Meherat worked at 12.26 Studios as a Project Manager. Meherat planned and tracked projects, coordinated team meetings, and managed project staff using online software.
In 2015, Meherat also joined Blue Heron Wellness as a Client Advocate, responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling check-ins and check-outs, and following front desk procedures. Meherat later became the Director of Operations, managing a large team and overseeing operational systems.
From 2017 to 2020, Meherat worked at Palladian Partners, Inc. as a Traffic Assistant and later as a Traffic Coordinator. Their responsibilities included managing project schedules, monitoring tasks and deadlines, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating staffing and resource allocation.
At Manifest, Meherat held multiple roles from 2020 to 2021. Meherat initially worked as an Associate Operations Manager before being promoted to Operations Manager. Their responsibilities included managing operations, creating schedules, and generating promotional ideas.
Currently, Meherat is employed at Corporate Visions as both an Operations Manager and a Delivery Program Manager, starting in 2022.
Meherat Addis attended the University of San Diego from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies. In 2012, they participated in a Study Abroad Program at University College Cork. Prior to attending the University of San Diego, Meherat Addis studied at Southwest Virginia Community College from 2008 to 2010, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study.
