Maria-Jose Carvajal is an experienced professional in the wine industry, currently serving as a Judge for the Womens International Trophy since March 2023. In addition to this role, Maria-Jose has been the Importer and Distributor for Coravin in Argentina since 2018 and is a Partner at WineSpotters Lado B. Maria-Jose also holds the position of Managing Partner at WineSpotters since 2013. Maria-Jose's educational background includes a Master's degree in Direction and Management of Wine Tourism from Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes, as well as multiple wine-related certifications, including the Spanish Wine Scholar and Italian Wine Scholar from Wine Scholar Guild, and certifications from Bodegas Lustau and Tio Pepe. Additionally, Maria-Jose has earned a Bachelor's degree in both Psychology and Philosophy from San Jose State University, alongside a WSET 3 in Wines and Spirits.
