Iniego Carl Varon is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance, compliance, and legal counsel across various sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Legal and Compliance for Gogoro Philippines since February 2023, Iniego also holds the position of Corporate Legal Counsel at Convoy of Hope since January 2019. Previously, Iniego was a Legal Consultant at 917Ventures and the Head of Regional Legal for Southeast Asia at ZEN Rooms, a leading hospitality group in the region. Iniego's early career included roles as Senior Legal Manager at SM Investments Corporation and Junior Associate at GSE Law Firm, where responsibilities encompassed legal research and analysis in labor and litigation. Iniego holds a Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo de Manila Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Ateneo de Manila University.
