Jared L. has a diverse work experience spanning across different companies and roles. Jared is currently working as a Senior Technical Consultant at Contender Solutions since September 2021. Prior to this, Jared served as a Sr Manager I - Software Engineering at Walmart from August 2019 to September 2021. In this role, they led a multicultural team responsible for Incident, Change, Portal, and multiple scoped-app products hosted on ServiceNow. Jared also provided guidance and mentorship to others in the organization.

Before that, Jared worked as a Senior System Engineer, ServiceNow Development at Walmart from August 2017 to August 2019. Jared also held the position of Systems Analyst, Walmart Technology Operations from January 2009 to July 2017. During their time in this role, Jared grew from an individual contributor to a team leadership position, handling multiple teams and products. Their responsibilities included issue research and resolution, training, and leading third-party support.

Jared's career at Walmart started as a Programmer Analyst, Retail Link Development in March 2005 and lasted until December 2008. Jared joined the Retail Link team without prior knowledge of the system but quickly gained expertise through self-driven learning. Jared was known for their ability to onboard others onto these systems and led projects related to Retail Link Active Directory and Retail Link Single Sign On.

In addition, Jared has experience as a Systems Programmer, Mainframe Capacity Planning from July 2002 to March 2005. Jared utilized their creativity to provide data traditionally only available to mainframe users to those who do not typically log into the mainframe. This included developing a web frontend for querying summarized SMF records and providing data for divisional budget plans.

Jared L. obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General from the University of Central Missouri, where they attended from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their degree, Jared L. has acquired several certifications from ServiceNow, including Certified Integration Specialist (CIS) - Event Management, obtained in June 2022, ServiceNow Application Developer, obtained in March 2019, and ServiceNow System Administrator, obtained in October 2018.
