Frank C. Ngeni Eit, M.sc.

Highway Design Engineer at CONSOR Engineers

Frank C. Ngeni, EIT, M.Sc. has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Frank C. started their career in 2014 as a Site Civil Engineer at Del Monte Company Limited. In 2015, they worked as a Structural Engineer at Howard Humphreys (East Africa) Ltd, where they were involved in the design and detailing of reinforced concrete structures.

From 2016 to 2020, Frank worked at Tanzania National Roads Agency-TANROADS as a Planner & Project(Contract) Manager. In this role, they supervised site works, conducted highway geometric design using AutoCAD Civil 3D, and reviewed consultant's reports.

In 2013, Frank served as the Director at FRANCAISE COMPANY LIMITED, where they were responsible for projects planning and cost control. Frank C. drafted detailed cost plans, monitored costs during the design stage, and provided alternative economic solutions.

Most recently, Frank is working as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at South Carolina State University (2021-2022), where they are gaining research and teaching experience in the field.

Starting in 2023, Frank will be joining CONSOR Engineers as a Highway Design Engineer.

Frank C. Ngeni, EIT, M.Sc. completed their education in a chronological order. From 2012 to 2016, they attended the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering. In 2020 to 2021, they further pursued their education at the Beijing University of Technology, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Transportation and Highway Engineering.

Following their academic achievements, Frank acquired various certifications and professional memberships. In May 2017, they became a Certified Member (CM) of the Youth of United Nations Association of Tanzania. From January 2021, they became a student member of both the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Southern District ITE. Frank C. also joined the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society and the Center for Connected Multimodal Mobility as an active member in February 2021 and January 2021, respectively.

Continuing their professional development, Frank obtained several certifications, including the FE Exam from NCEES in July 2022. Frank C. also completed various online courses, such as "Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Exam Tips (2023 Update)" from LinkedIn in July 2023, "Learning Bentley MicroStation V8i" in January 2023, "Power BI Data Modeling with DAX" in January 2023, "Project Management Skills for Leaders" in January 2023, and "OpenRoads Designer: Civil Geometry Quickstart" in November 2022.
