Wayne Spencer is the Chief Scientist at the Conservation Biology Institute since November 1999. With a Ph.D. in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Arizona, an M.S. in Wildland Resource Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Wildlife Management and Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Wayne previously worked as a Senior Conservation Biologist at Ogden Environmental. In their current role, Wayne provides scientific guidance for conservation plans and leads research projects involving geospatial modeling.
