Gael Sydness is an accomplished sales leader with extensive experience in regional sales management, particularly in digital native and financial services sectors across Europe. Currently serving as Regional Sales Director for Europe North & East at Confluent since January 2021, Gael has successfully built and led sales teams in diverse regions, including the Netherlands, Nordics, Eastern Europe, and the Baltics. Prior experience includes roles at Oracle, where Gael directed cloud sales initiatives and achieved top performance accolades, including the Top Achievement Award for New Business Build-up & Innovation. Gael's entrepreneurial spirit is reflected in co-founding Onlive.io, a SaaS event technology platform, along with other ventures. A well-rounded educational background includes an Executive Education program at London Business School and a Master's degree in International Management from EADA Business School.
