Anne Macner serves as chief administrative officer for Cone Health. She is responsible for refining processes around capital and business planning, and supports service line leaders in executing strategic initiatives. Macner also works to ensure construction, facilities and real estate functions are efficient and provide the utmost value to Cone Health.
Macner joined Cone Health as a manager in rehabilitation. Most recently she was senior vice president for reinventing care. That role included accountability for the design, construction and move into the new Women’s & Children’s Center at Moses Cone Hospital.
Macner earned a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Chicago, and a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Physical Therapy Association. Macner serves on the boards of PACE of the Triad and Authoracare. She received the Women in Business Award from the Triad Business Journal in 2012 and is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Greensboro.
