Danielle Trenda, MSHI has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Danielle currently holds the position of Lead Clinical Informaticist at Fairview Health Services, where they joined in September 2019 as a Clinical Informaticist before being promoted to their current role in April 2021. In their role, Danielle provides site support, trains Epic classes, offers personalization and optimization sessions, and supports new releases and go-lives. Danielle is also involved in the Activities Committee and takes on-call duties as part of the MHealth EHR/HIT Support team.
Prior to their current position, Danielle worked at Allina Health from 2014 to 2019. Danielle started as a Lead Patient Access Liaison in February 2014 and later transitioned to the role of Business Analyst in August 2016. Danielle Trenda, MSHI has a comprehensive education history that spans several years and includes multiple degrees and certifications. Danielle began their academic journey at Roosevelt High School, where they obtained their diploma in 2002. Danielle then pursued Pre-Nursing Studies at the University of Minnesota from 2002 to 2003, followed by an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Pre-Nursing Studies from Normandale Community College, completed between 2008 and 2010.
Continuing their education, Danielle earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies with a focus on Healthcare Management from Walden University, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Building on this foundation, they then pursued a Master of Science degree in Health Informatics from Walden University, completing their studies in 2016.
In addition to their academic achievements, Danielle has also obtained various certifications, enhancing their skillset and expertise. Danielle completed Dragon Medical One (DMO) Application Support Training at Nuance Communications in December 2022 and became an Epic Clinical Informaticist at Fairview Health Services in the same month. Further back in their career, Danielle obtained certifications such as EpicCare Home Health (Dorothy) and EpicCare Hospice (Comfort) from Allina Health in January 2017. Danielle also holds certifications in BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) and Heartsaver First Aid from the American Heart Association, which they obtained in June 2013.
