Laurel Velarde is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in implementing and managing HR programs across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of People and Global Director of People at Concord Technologies since December 2020, Laurel oversees HR projects for over 200 employees across the US, Canada, and India. Previously, Laurel held positions at DoubleDown Interactive and Wunderman Thompson, where significant contributions included establishing HR initiatives and services. Notable achievements at Concord include launching the first HRIS platform, creating an Education and Training Program in collaboration with Udemy for Business, and founding the Diversity Equity Inclusion program.
